Studies on oxidation of α-Naphthol catalyzed by binnucleus copper(II) sulfophthalocyanine in ethanol-water

摘要：

α-Naphthol was oxidized to poly-1, 4-naphthalene ether by oxygen using binucleus copper( II ) sulfophthalocyanine as catalyst in ethanol-water. The factors to affect this reaction, such as temperature, the concentration of α-naphthol, the amount of catalyst, the volume ratio of ethanol to water and reaction time, were studied. A possible reaction mechanism was proposed.
