摘要
There are two fundamental storage forms in the frequently-used offshore oil storage structures: oil-water displacement and oil-gas displacement. A brief introduction of the principle of oil-water displacement underwater oil storage technology is provided. This technology has been widely used in underwater oil storage tank (UOST), floating Spar platform, steel gravity platform (SGBS) and concrete gravity platform (CGBS). Then, the oil storage and offloading operation processes of four representative storage systems, Eugene UOST, Brent Spar, Maureen SGBS and Ekofisk CGBS, are introduced in detail. Critical technical problems involved in Khazzan I UOST are studied and a comparison of operating cost between Khazzan I UOST and other two floating storage systems is given. Finally, the content and quantity of oily sediments in five decommissioning offshore structures (one Brent Spar, one Maureen SGBS and three CGBS) are described. This survey can be used for reference in the study of oil-water displacement oil storage technology. © 2016, Editorial Office of Ship Building of China. All right reserved.
