M-real Digital Imaging - Zanders: Digital R & D operations

M-real Digital Imaging (Finland) and the Zanders company (Germany) have joined forces in creating a Technological center for specialty papers. The new team of 11 people will be involved in research and development of digital printing papers. That R & D investment will further strengthen M-real's position as a European leader in digital printing by advancing its line of high-quality papers. The team will analyze each stage of the digital printing process and create new types of coatings for papers in collaboration with original equipment manufacturers. It will also develop rigorous paper quality tests.
