Fiber-optical sensor for measuring concentration of solution

摘要
This sensor featuring plane-convex lens collimator for expanding beam and coupling, and a low frequency for light pulse modulation is introduced. The theoretical formulas of concentration of solution have been derived. The milk has been measured experimentally, and the precision of measuring is 1%, The experimental results are agreement with the theoretical analyses. The experimental results show that the sensitivity and precision of the measuring results using the fiber-optical sensor are largely improved. It can be used to perform the measurement or control of concentration of solution on-line in succession.
