摘要
In order to obtain the internal and external flow characteristics, experimental study is performed on a tandem TBCC nozzle with independently adjustable throat area and duct exit area. The experimental and computational results are also compared. The results indicate that the variable nozzle can operate in a wide range of nozzle pressure ratio and mass flow rate. The desired internal and external flow structure can be established successfully and the thrust coefficient is 0.90, 0.96 and 0.97 for the take-off state, transition state and cruise state, respectively. In addition, the experimental results agree well with the computational results at the above stated typical operating states. © 2017, Editorial Department of Journal of Propulsion Technology.
