The article discussed the driver mistakes which appeared to be the main cause of several large truck crashes. The research data showed that the drivers of automobiles and other vehicles were responsible for more than twice as many car-truck accidents as truck drivers. Distraction, aggressive driving, poor judgement and failure to perform due to fatigue or illness by operators of other vehicles were some reasons for 64 multivehicle crashes, while truck drivers were found to have acted similarly in 27 cases.
