摘要
Plug-pin steel-tube scaffold is a new type of scaffold system with good structure, it can be connected and disconnected easily with little manpower, and it can be applied to many fields and brings good economy. This is a new scaffold technology that is very worthy of being popularized. But there is little research on this type of scaffold. This paper lays emphasis on the joint, the most important part of this new scaffold. In this paper the stability of welded cracks of scaffold' joint is analyzed by the theory of fracture mechanics, It is found from the theoretical result that the cracks are steady at the normal work condition. The ultimate bearing capacity and the destruction mode of scaffold' joint are determined by an experiment, the result of the experiment also indicates the correctness of the theoretical analysis by the theory of fracture mechanics. This paper is very important to popularize the application of this new type of scaffold.
