Capacity calculation on bus stop in expressway considering road congestion

摘要
Based on the analysis of influencing factors of bus-stop routes capacity, a mathematical model describing relationships between bus parking time and traffic flows and speeds under different congestion conditions was established using different traffic flows on high-speed road stretches to express the congestion degree. Through statistical standardization of actual investigational data and parameters, bus-stop routes capacity under different traffic flows and speeds was calculated and, with a bus stop (3rd Ring Road North-Jimenqiao West Bus Stop) as an example, rationality and effectiveness of the model was validated.
