Production line analysis, line over finish

The article discusses the use of statistical process control (SPC) for container glass manufacturing. In the manufacture of container glass the line over finish (LOF) defect is one of the major causes of wastage. The critical LOF can result in leakage after bottling. The research is also conducted, which forms the basis for on-line SPC and will safeguard the quality of bottles in the future.
