摘要
This article discusses the National Incident Management System (NIMS) that integrates best practices into a method that is consistent nationwide for federal, state, and local governments, regardless of jurisdiction or function, to work together efficiently and effectively to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents, regardless of the cause, size, or complexity. This article presents an example of an action plan exercise for compliance training that uses the NIMS Incident Command System to manage an emergency incident. © 2008 American Water Works Association.
