摘要
The mechanical and structural properties of films prepared from chitosan-poly(ethylene oxide) blends were studied. It was shown that the mechanical properties of these films are improved when the content of PEO in the blend achieves 17-20%. The improvement in mechanical properties correlates with a decrease in the characteristic size of structural heterogeneities inherent to two-phase systems, which are analyzed by small-angle neutron scattering.
