A market/price outlook of North American lumber and panels for the second quarter of 2002 is given. Lumber prices are poised to rise following the ITC's final ruling to impose 27% duties on Canadian imports. Although OSB and plywood prices remain on hold, they are expected to rebound in June as a result of strong U.S. housing demand.
