摘要
Marine collagen peptides have become a hot research spot on collagen peptides because of its abundant source and structural characteristics. Marine life is a rich source of collagen with high nutritional quality, and many studies have shown that hydrolysates and peptides derived from this marine collagen show a variety of healthy biological activities. It has a broad application prospect in many food health industries. The preparation of marine collagen peptides can improve the recovery of collagen and make these marine living resources effective, which can not only meet the increasing global demand for collagen but also save natural living resources. It is beneficial to the development of green production and circular economy. Starting with the introduction of collagen and its bioactive peptides, this paper summarizes the research on various biological activities of marine collagen peptides at home and abroad in recent years, and summarizes the current practical applications of marine collagen peptides in health products, the food industry, and medical fields. The potential uses of MCPs in future commercial product development are systematically summarized and discussed, to provide a scientific basis for the further development and application of marine collagen peptide in health products, food industry, and the medical industry. © 2021 Editorial Department of Science and Technology of Food Science.
