摘要
Process of production of two-layer mill rollers by method of centrifugal casting has been considered. It has been shown that the working layer of the roller with preset thickness can be provided without decrease in hardness. The rollers are used at the rolling mills for producing the strips. Evaluation of chemical composition and conditions of the working layer formation on the roller hardness has been performed. Mathematical model of the hardness has been developed with the use of regression equations. High influence of the chemical composition has been noted at 10 - 15 mm depth. Influence of the formation conditions on stress level has been determined.
