摘要：
A review is given on some biologically important compounds, such as bilirubin and bovine serum albumin (BSA). First, a concise description is presented that includes some information regarding preparation of solutions, generation of specific radicals and techniques for studying the chemical kinetics of the reactions of these free radicals with biological compounds. Following this, results obtained in few specific systems are given with relatively more importance given to recent work. Overall, the review aims to suggest directions for future research.
