摘要
Pipeline response directly determines the feasibility of S-lay installation. Study of sensitivity of parameters is of great significance to design of the installation and development of a real-time computation system. Software Orcaflex is applied to analyze pipeline response and sensitivity of main parameters such as water depth, tension, wave, current, etc. It is shown that in deepwater installation, the tension, current and motion of the lay barge are key parameters for calculating response of the pipeline. Using the measured data, the calculation accuracy can be improved. © 2017, Editorial Office of Ship Building of China. All right reserved.
