摘要：
A macroscopic criterion of brittle fracture of solids upon complex stressed state is elaborated. It takes into account the characteristics of mechanical properties of material, temperature, dimensions and position of defects. The theoretical dependences are suggested that can be used in creation of experimental procedures for determining the mechanical properties of materials in estimation of brittle fracture.
