As one of the largest branches of all, the demand for communication in the day-to-day running of the business in the construction and property industry is, in comparison with other industries, enormous. This applies both in developing, planning and executing the work as well as for the subsequent managing of the buildings. Yet it is just in this area where the need for the construction industry to catch up is considerable. Only about every fifth disruption having an effect on a construction projects can be attributed to problems with the plot of building land or to influences from the weather. It is much more frequently the case that discrepancies in planning, misunderstandings in the information chain, and incorrect decisions, are responsible for exploding costs and delays in the schedule.
