An experimental investigation of the thermal conductivity of binary aqueous solutions of potassium halides

The results of an investigation into the thermal conductivity λsolof binary aqueous solutions of potassium halides for temperatures, pressures, and mass fractions in the ranges of 293-473 K, 0.1-100.0 MPa, and 0.05-0.20, respectively, are described. Based on a generalization of experimental data from different investigations, including our own, equations for calculating λsolas a function of the temperature and the pressure were derived.
