Mechanical properties of Co-free high strength and high toughness steels

The influence of alloying element C, Ni, Cr, Mo, Nb, Mn, Si and heat-treatment on the material mechanical properties of Co-free high strength high toughness steel G50 was studied by the artificial neural networks method. Microstructure of G50 steel was observed by TEM, and the interaction between elements and the effect of microstructure and the second phase (carbides) were discussed. Results right provide some valuable reference for the study of Co-free high strength high toughness steels.
