Nonlinear TM waves on interface of gyromagnets

摘要
The nonlinear behavior of transverse magnetic (TM) waves on the interface between an antiferromagnet and a ferromagnet is studied. The theoretical results show that for TM waves there exist frequency passband(s) and stopband(s) which can be switched into each other by varying the power. It is indicated that this surface waveguide may support backward surface waves, which have opposite group velocities to their phase velocities. The passbands width of forward and backward surface waves are about 10 GHz.
