Recent experimental results on CP violation in the B sector from experiments at asymmetric e+e- B-factories, are summarized in these lectures. The BaBar and BELLE experiments b &rarr sc¯c results for time dependent CP asymmetry are in good agreement with each other. The similar measurements for penguin dominated B meson decays may indicate the contribution from physics beyond Standard Model (SM). The first meaningful measurements of ø2 and ø3 angles of Cabibbo - Kobayashi - Maskawa (CKM) unitarity triangle (UT) are presented. The constraint on the position of the apex of the UT, obtained from these measurements allows a test of the CKM interpretation of CP violation in the SM. © 2004 Taylor & Francis Ltd.
