摘要
For an expected low rate of electric power consumption growth the prospects of competing of generation technologies are considered. A paramount importance of hydroelectric and nuclear power as leading technologies is emphasized. The promising ways of development of these technologies are presented. The self-sufficiency of development of the unified power system to ensure the power safety of Russia and the optimization of the generation technologies is noted.
