Wave propagation in exponentially graded semi-infinite medium

摘要
For the purpose of evaluating propagation characteristics of wave in unbounded medium, the acoustic propagation in semi-infinite inhomogeneous medium with a special gradient velocity was investigated. Based on the particularity of point source, the wave equation was treated with variables separation after Laplace transform. The integral expression of velocity potential function was obtained by solving a Bessel equation. The present results could provide reference for the study of acoustic and electromagnetic wave in atmosphere and seismic wave. ©, 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society. All right reserved.
