摘要
The experiment studies the start-up process of sequencing biological contact oxidation reactor (SBCO) at low temperatures (below 15°C). Inoculating active sludge and infusing the sewage into the reactor, we cultured biofilm while adjusting the CODCr and the aeration of the sewage. After active sludge was inoculated twice with the water temperature ranging from 11.5°C to 14°C, the reactor started up successfully 32 days later. The result shows that the reactor successfully starts up in 2-3 weeks at low temperatures if the quantity of inoculative active sludge is big enough. The temperature has great influence on the NH3-N removal rate. Generally the quality of drainage is good. The pH ranges from 6.8 to 7.3, which is not the best pH range for the growth of the microorganism, but it doesn't have obvious effect on the start-up process. The reactor still started up successfully.
