Biocel is engaged in a debottlenecking project that is expected to increase the company's output to 280,000 tonnes by 2003. The company expects a drop in net profits and sales in 2001 due to a drop in global pulp prices and the firming of the Czech currency against the Euro. The firm is also expecting a gross profit of CZK 150 million in 2002 on sales.
