Study on the transmission spectra of the composite YAG/Nd:YAG crystal

摘要
A composite YAG/Nd:YAG crystal was obtained by using the thermal bonding technique under a specific temperature and pressure. The optical transmission ratio of the composite YAG/Nd:YAG crystal is equal to the experimental and theoretical values of the Nd:YAG crystal with a same thickness. The results indicate that the bonding region between the pure YAG crystal and Nd:YAG crystal is uniformly transited, almost having no scattering interface and being a unity.
