摘要
The ejection direction of Rydberg electrons ionized by radio-frequency (RF) pulses depending on amplitude, duration and the carrier-envelope phase of the pulses was studied. It was found that the ejection direction for low RF amplitudes depends on the carrier-envelope (CE) phase for short pulses. The ejection direction was observed to be always asymmetric and depends on the exact field for few-cycle pulses for high amplitudes. The results show that, for many-cycle pulses the electron emission becomes symmetric in both cases.
