摘要
Operation of steel-teeming ladles at basic oxygen converter shop has been considered. It has been shown that periclase-carbon lining should be utilize in the ladle. In connection with this, technology for manufacturing the periclase-carbon refractories has been developed. It has been found that preliminary preparation of raw materials utilized during producing the refractories plays important role. This makes it possible to apply cheaper raw materials. Efficient conditions of grinding the raw materials have been determined. Process of mixing the raw materials has been improved. Efficient equipment for mixing the materials has been selected. Rational heat treatment of the refractories has been created.
