This paper demonstrates the novel design of a digital electro-optic SR NAND latch based on the photonic microring resonator. This work provides the working principle of the designed SR NAND latch; proceeds with the demonstration and analysis of the operation with the operating speed of 5 Gbps. The performance of the proposed SR NAND latch is verified by clear output timing diagrams as well as eye diagrams. © 2017 IEEE;
