Investigation on heat transfer mechanism of femtosecond laser interaction with thin gold film

摘要
The interactions between the ultrashort laser, whose pulse width is less than 100 fs, and a thin gold film are simulated using parabolic two step (PTS) model and hyperbolic two step (HTS) model. The simulation results predicted by these two models are compared with the experimental data of damage threshold. It is concluded that HTS model is more in line with the experimental data. The present numerical work provides the theoretical support for laser-material processing. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
