Tonic Emballage hits more hold-ups with PMs

Tonic Emballage has hit further delays with plans to install two paper machines at its plant in Bou-Ismail. The setback follows more hold-ups with construction of the PM houses. The company hopes to complete the buildings by August 1, 2005. The delay has also affected the installation of a second-hand containerboard machine. Metso Paper is rebuilding the 300 tonne/day schrenz PM to enable it to produce 400 tonnes/day of recycled fluting, testliner and white-top testliner in the 105-180 g/m2.
