摘要
The friction behavior of carbonyl iron-based magnetorheological fluids are investigated on a four-ball machine under non-magnetic field and magnetic field, the influence of base oils on friction coefficient is discussed, changes of friction coefficient of different base oils and MR fluids during test period are recorded. The results show that kinetic viscosity of base oil has directly influence on rheological property of MR fluids. Their friction properties depend highly on the friction property of base oils.
