Suppliers of data acquisition (DAQ) systems are focusing their efforts on flexibility and ease of integration and use. These suppliers of DAQ were busy past year developing systems that can cost-effectively access, acquire, move, and store all of the data needed to run an agile manufacturing enterprise. Importance of DAQ are in newer application areas, which include remote service and management, real-time monitoring and remote notification, and vendor managed inventory.
