Simplified model analysis of wire-rope vibration isolator

From view-point of engineering application, the acceleration characteristic of a wire-rope isolator under stochastic load is studied. It is considered that the isolation system could be described by using the linear model under a certain experiment state, while its parameters would be changed along with changes of the experiment state. Here, the linear model of the isolation system under different experiment states is built. It is demonstrated that it is possible to describe the nonlinear characteristic of the isolator by using the linear model under some certain range of test level. The proposed method and the results could be references for designers.
