摘要
Information based on reliable data is the key to effectively managing a disaster. Targeted data collection, processing, and visualization can optimize many processes, gain information, and make more informed decisions. With advancing technological developments, traditional data collection methods can be updated or supplemented by modern methods such as unmanned aerial systems or field apps. Depending on the situation, the different approaches offer various advantages and disadvantages. In addition to data collection, data processing and visualization are necessary for effective use of the data. Different requirements are placed on GIS systems in various phases of the disaster. © 2023, Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH, ein Teil von Springer Nature.
