摘要：
Evolvement of forming single crystal by heated mould continuous casting is studied. Evolvement of forming single crystal Al wire by heated mould continuous casting undergoes three stages: (a) the growth competition of crystals, (b) the growth of columnar, (c) the growth of single crystal, which is discussed first. Whether the single crystal can be obtained or not depends on the profile of the solid-liquid interface which is influenced by the casting speed.
