摘要
The energy conservation dissipative particle dynamics (eDPD) has an inherent advantage in the simulation of complex heat convection. In this article, eDPD mode is used to simulate convective heat transfer of the gas in eccentric annulus. The forced convection caused by the rotation of the rotor is simulated first. Then, we adopt the Boussinesq approximation into eDPD mode and focus on the natural convection. Finally, we successfully simulate the mixed convection in eccentric annulus. The temperature distribution and the streamlines are obtained. The eDPD results are compared to the finite volume solutions and the experimental date. The accuracy of the eDPD results is satisfactory, which means that the eDPD is a powerful method in the simulation of convective heat transfer in complex domains.
