摘要
In order to study the formation characteristics of CO2 hydrate in porous media below the freezing point, effects of different particle sizes of quartz sand (24 mesh, 32 mesh and 60 mesh) and different ice content (11.11%, 20.00% and 33.33%) on the reaction were studied under the condition of initial pressure was 3.0 MPa and temperature was 270.15 K. The results show that porous media has a certain promoting effect on the formation of hydrate with ice powder. Within the particle size of 24-60 mesh, the larger the particle size of quartz sand was, the higher the final conversion rate of ice to hydrate and the larger the amount of gas stored per unit volume of ice would be. However, in the initial stage of the experiment, the formation rate of CO2 hydrate and the conversion rate of ice to hydrate were the highest with the quartz sand of 60 mesh. The results also indicated that, within the range of ice content was 11.11%∼33.33%, the smaller the ice content was, the higher the conversion rate of ice to hydrate during the hydrate formation process, the faster the increase of conversion rate with time and the greater the gas storage capacity of unit ice would be. And the highest conversion rate of ice to hydrate and the highest gas storage capacity reached 48.82% and 90.58 L/L, respectively. © 2022, Science Press. All right reserved.
