摘要
Barium titanate (BaTiO3) based ceramics which exhibit positive temperature coefficient of resistivity (PTCR) effect were doped by yttrium fluoride (YF3) under different atmosphere. The effects of different sintering atmosphere on the structure and property of YF3-doped BaTiO3 ceramics were investigated by the aids of XRD, SEM, R-T measuring instrument and impedance analysis. Experiments show that YF3-doped BaTiO3 ceramics fired in both air and Ar are n-type semiconductors, in which Y substitutes A-site, and F substitutes O-site. An anomalous PTCR effect was observed when YF3-doped BaTiO3 ceramics was fired in Ar atmosphere. This phenomenon may be caused by a new substitution mechanism-O site substitution.
