摘要
Numerical simulation of full-scale ship resistance and propulsion performance has been paid much attention at home and abroad. Hydrodynamic performance of a full ship is usually extrapolated with the result of the model scale. However, a ship model can't satisfy the equivalence of Froude number and Reynolds number simultaneously, and accuracy of various extrapolation methods still needs to be verified. Starting from the scale effect in the full-scale numerical simulation, this article introduces key issues in the ship numerical simulation briefly, and summarizes the research status of numerical simulation methods for full-scale ship resistance and propulsion performance from the perspectives of mesh, turbulence model, time step and wall roughness. Some suggestions and problems that need to be solved further are put forward. © 2020, Editorial Office of Ship Building of China. All right reserved.
