摘要
An alternate process that eliminated steps in the manufacture of powder metallurgy (P/M) parts was presented. High performance sinter-hardenable P/M alloys were investigated for their mechanical properties. Ancorsteel 737 SH premixes were shown to exceed several key property targets, which are required for automotive applications. Copper was found to increase mechanical properties when added in small amounts.
