The numerical and analytical analysis of the problem of interaction of counter shock wave and centered rarefaction wave is considered. The fact of non-uniformity of flow behind the waves coming from the interaction area is demonstrated. The analytical approximations of the shape of the curved shock wave are offered in the area of its interaction with the centered rarefaction wave. It is shown that at defined values of input parameters as a result of the interaction the appearance of subsonic area behind a curved shock wave is possible.
