Galtfelter implemented new dissolved air flotation technology at its Neenah, Wis., paper mill. The new technology reduced upsets in the activated sludge secondary treatment system. The new dissolved air flotation separator treats the entire wastewater flow and has helped the mill meet production goals, maintain waste-discharge guidelines, and improve system operation.
