摘要
Pulp and paper producers in Latin America are starting capacity expansion projects to address the growing consumption in the region. These producers enjoy some of the lowest production cost/ton of pulp in the world. Another sector that is expected to grow is the nascent tissue market. According to a recent report, there was a 10% growth in demand for corrugated board in Latin America in 2000. This consumption level of packaging showed is an indication of the good economic state of the country.
