Application of argon stirring in ladle for converter steelmaking

摘要：
The argon stirring from the bottom of ladle is a kind of refining technique which is quite simple and effective. The argon stirring from bottom instead of top blowing is used for improving the refining operation in the steelmaking plant at Xinxing Ductile Pipes Group Co. The practice indicates that the quality of liquid steel is improved, while the inclusion and gas content are decreased. The steel properties conform the national standards.
