摘要
The hearth is one of the harsh working areas of a blast furnace. the life span of which is determined mainly by the hearth erosion. Prediction of the residual profile of the hearth liner is of great importance. This work aims to predict the hearth liner profile by combination of positive solution for heat transfer using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) and inverse solution using one-dimension model. This method considers the thermal conductivity of the firebrick as function of its temperature, and makes the first calculation based on the isotherm at 1150℃. The results show a good agreement with the measured temperatures by thermocouples on the plant site, which verified the availability and effectiveness of this method. © 2019, Science Press.
