摘要
There is a need to increase energy efficiency and use resources sustainably by means of energy-efficient building systems. In the study, vertical greening systems were integrated with a Double skin façade system and were applied as a Double skin green façade. Different improvement scenarios were produced for the cities of Karabük and Antalya, which have two different climates. Then, the scenarios were simulated with DesignBuilder program, and energy consumption values were determined accordingly. As a result, the energy efficiency of the DSF scenario applied to the south and west façades for Karabük and the scenarios with 30% greenery coverage on the façade were determined to be better. DSF applied on the south side of building was considered to be more appropriate for Antalya. © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
