摘要
This paper has developed the prediction and control methods of combustion instability in a partially premixed swirl burner. The Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and system identification method was used to obtain the flame transfer function, and the Helmholtz solver was employed to predict and analyze the combustion instability of the system. The deviation of system oscillation frequency between the predicted and experimental results was about 6%, which verifies the accuracy of the system identification method for the combustion instability prediction. Moreover, the predictions of combustion instability control have been also carried out by combining the acoustic impedance model of acoustic liner. It was found that with the acoustic liner installed, the growth rate of the system decreased from 0.24 rad/s to −0.13 rad/s, achieving the control of combustion instability. © 2023 Science Press.
