Future-proof SCM is defined by eight success factors. In times of major trends such as digitalization and globalization, new challenges arise on existing supply chain management (SCM). In order to master these challenges, the FIR at the RWTH Aachen in cooperation with an industry consortium has defined success factors, which ensure the sustainability of the SCM. The cooperation with the companies shows current trends and allows future developments of the SCM to be derived. © Carl Hanser Verlag GmbH & Co. KG
